i touched my chest again

Memories and friends grow on your skin like a sweeping bas-relief. I have mine cleanly carved on my chest. I might not see it as often as I want to but it’s just there, silently waiting. Erica made me caress my chest again. Painful and sweet. Remembrance squishes me to a pulp and resurrects who I was years ago, back when my job hasn’t forged prison bars yet; when I used to swish into the dialectics of life and art; when I used to get drunk with the craziness that only theater people can elegantly get away with. It was both cerebral and visceral. Thanks, Erica, for bringing back the memories. Yes, we can start weeping again.

With such gorgeous girlfriends I understand why you want the best available camera ! :-)

Erica would love your comment! :)

Even with the best camera available, i'm still not worthy to shoot her. she's far too multi-faceted for my amateurish eye. she's a saint, bitch, actress, poet, and an intellectual. she's both psychotic and brilliant at the same time; being with her is like riding a roller coaster, which makes her a very interesting subject indeed.

check out her Saint Eroica photos at Nelz Agustin's photography site. i gave the link above.

je l'ai connu. c'est bizarre que vous l'avez connu aussi.

rosary

have they added a whole set of beads to it to accomodate the supposed new mysteries of light. guess its going bad all these years, they need to reinvent the wheel .. to spice things up again ..

REBEL HEART--yeah! and there are good ones too in the saint eroica collection of pics.

DLAK--or a devil with angelic thoughts on her mind?

BISMUTH--that's the thing with angels, they just stay for a fleeting second then leave. i guess it's their nature. next time, try making friends with the devil.

SAINT EROICA--that sounds intriguing! hhhhmmmmmm.

ENNUI--it's sad when people like them leave. maybe you can try getting in touch again. things get a lot more thrilling the second time around.

we're still very very good friends and i couldn't imagine my life not having been emotionally intimate with her, but alas, life has other plans for us ... perhaps the path had already been set the day we were born.

it's uplifting to know you have good friends to share memories (even the sad ones) with. that makes life more bearable.

SUNSET--so you were into theater too? cool. that's the place where you get to meet friends from diverse backgrounds.

ENNUI--not everyone is fortunate enough to have a friend like that. do treasure her. you'll never know how crooked the path may turn out to be later on. enjoy the friendship while it lasts.

ABANIKO--exactly. they bouy you up all the time.

you are modest...that is very nice potrait...and perfect words to flow with it...evokes a sense of nostalgia...for a time that is lost now...

ok... i'm amazed at how you write such fluid stuff, from the previous entries up to this one... very lyrical... well i guess being poetic is in the genes...

btw, i misread the name of the pic... i thought it was bound flesh... heheheh... a freudian thought.

ANIL--thanks. its' always a pleasure to rekindle old memories. your words flow more perfectly than mine.

JULSITOS--thanks for the nice words, man. coming from someone like you, that's really something!

haha, freudian slip, huh? well, with a picture like that, one would surely commit freudian slips left and right.

bound flesh

this brings it to a whole new level. bound by religion? bound by faith? bound by standards .. etc ..

RMACAPOBRE--yup. striking symbolism. notice that it's a rosary that's binding her flesh. very symbolic indeed.
